Would have been 5 stars, but one employee let the rest of the facility down. My uncle was here for nearly a month. The facility itself was outstanding-modern, and clean. The nurses, receptionists, physical therapists were all lovely. Unfortunately, Shelby the social services employee was remarkably poor at her job. On five different occasions she failed to follow through on tasks she had promised. Every time I went to her office it was full of other employees having a party like environment and doing everything except the job at hand.
Tice Valley Post Acute was nothing short of SPECATCULAR! Our 88 year old Mom was told 3-6 months of wheelchair rehab after her fall, but here we are, 26 days after the fall, and she is on her way home! Staff was fantastic, rooms were comfortable, rehab was EXCELLENT! She broke 2 bones, yet they did fantastic work getting her up and moving, then walking unassisted, so she could go home. I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff and the way they handled our Mom, and all the patients. Tice Valley is the BEST!
I came back to Tice to visit the amazing team who helped me get back on my feet. It was so wonderful seeing everyone again! I am incredibly thankful to Dr. Nock, Sehaj, the entire rehab team—Shirley, Anuja, Edward, Melissa, Eric, Jane, John, Charles, and Phillip—and the wonderful nursing staff. Your compassion, encouragement, and dedication made such a difference in my recovery, and I’ll always be grateful for everything you did for me. Thank you all for helping me regain my strength and confidence. It was truly a joy to see you again!
